I do like speed. And I've done a few speedy things on the ground and in the air. And for a good long journey, a big engine that's unstrained at the top end of "motorway speeds" (however you interpret that
) is just the thing. Even my earliest Scimitar would cruise at "adequate" speeds with my foot barely resting on the throttle, egging me on to squeeze just a bit more to give the old thing some exercise and see the repmobile tail huggers shrink in the rear view mirror. But this article talks of doing 230 mph at half throttle. Yes, 230!!. Imagine squeezing that throttle a little bit more. Good luck to them. hehehe.
